Oh Lawd, Julia. You seem to hit that proverbial nail and on point all the time. It’s like you took a snapshot of my brain (which, you in particular, are always welcome to) and put it to pen. After this morning, May 5, (our Cinco de Maya experienced everywhere in our country) the Orange Idiot, continues to make deranged decisions and give personal and misguided opinions regarding everything that have offended every thinking person globally. And who knows, maybe beyond? I personally like all the apes and four legged creatures, like I know you do, so I’m just going to refer to him as the Orange Idiot to be fair to the smarter animals.
I applaud your admirable efforts in your natural community, wishing I could do exactly the same thing, because I do love the bees, the birds and the eggs!Instead of your tremendous efforts, I can only offer a pollinator garden next to my small vegetable farm. I am friends with my neighbor who manages about a dozen gorgeous chickens whose eggs find their way to my kitchen. Their colors and taste are very pleasing.
I also found a beekeeper down the street who sells me Ball Jars of his liquid gold. Since I currently have 17 foster fail cats and one large Mastiff, I’m avoiding inevitable clashes with my own hens and bees.
(I think Elwood is a superior and brilliant orange cat!)
As to your works in progress, I can hardly wait. I’ve made my pre-orders for books and re-listening to the available audios.
I write daily, amassing my essays and short stories, with hopes to one day promote myself to author. Still working on that part...
Thank you so very much for MAY THE FORCE BE WITH US!
I love so much about your letter, the tips, the fire in your belly and heart, books!!! Congratulations! And the photo at the end of your relative (Gawd I can't remember her name and I just read it!) who looks like a flower waiting to blossom. Keep up the badassery! Fish just went up in price yesterday at the grocery. As if it wasn’t expensive enough already. Also, I need to remember to plant sunflowers. Lucky you to have chickens! xo

Ruth was her name. :)
Yes, of course. Thanks Julia.
